Weddings

Photographing weddings is my most responsible task. Having been a bride once myself, I am fully aware how time flies and how fast the day will be over. The two of you have spent a lot of time to plan all the details and to make all the preparations. Almost every bride (and many a bridegroom) has pondered for days and even nights about choosing a dress, deciding on flowers, working out the guest list and fine-tuning the seating arrangement. Then, on your wedding day, caught up in the whirlwind of emotions, there is little time to enjoy the details. This is where I come in: to capture these special moments forever so that you can relive your special day again and again, and in the future, your children and grandchildren can share in your joy and love, too.

Guided by my sunny disposition and straightforward ways, I’d prefer to capture you whole day on camera. I will live this day intensively with you, and I’m happy to confess that I have spilt tears of joy during some of my wedding shoots. Starting with the bride’s preparations and until the dancing at night, I remain unobtrusively in the background and capture the most beautiful moments in a natural way as I hardly use flash photography. For pictures of the bride and groom, and also the group photos, I will assist actively in the posing such that you pictures will look natural, advantageous and authentic.
I am very patient and rarely lose my cool. Years of experience in event photography have taught me to immediately adapt to changing light conditions and other unexpected changes in my environment. Hence, I am very adapt at catching the right moments with my camera.

I have to thank my own two crazy little boys that I have a lot of patience for the very young wedding guests. Pictures of children come about very spontaneously and often enrich the whole photo series in unexpected ways.
